This calculator from ProPublica is interesting. It allows you to figure out which zip codes have the highest and lowest levels of income inequality. My hometown does pretty well, as 72% of counties have a higher level of income inequality. My current residence, though, is a different story. For 02215, which is Boston, 98% of counties in American have more income equality.
Also, just for kicks, I googled Loudoun, VA’s zip code, ‘cuz nearly all the people there are rolling in D.C. money from lobbying/DoD
kickbacks contracts/defense analysis. Loudoun has the lowest income inequality in the entire country (about 0%). Median income in Loudoun is more than 107k, per Wikipedia.
